The most glamorous of careers often hide those with the worst stories under. Winner of the USA and World competitions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after an arduous process and sheer patience. Jones was the sole child of a large family with five children as well as grew up poor. Her mother was constantly traveling, and had even lived in the basement of a church for a brief length of time. Jones was forced to move into a new school every year up until her high school years due to this sporadic lifestyle. Jones had an interest in the track events in Theodore Roosevelt secondary school lived away from her mom to follow her passion. Jones was in four homes during her high school years in order to study at one location. Jones took home in the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award while at school. She was a part of the orchestra at school, playing a cello player. In the first year of college, Jones proved to be one of the most skilled hurdlers. She won the 100 meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was among those on the second team in the relay race of 100 meters. In 2003 and 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles competition at the NCAA Championship. Professional Career Following her graduation at the end of 2005 Jones began training hard for a track career. The same year, she won at the Torino Memorial event, and two years later, she won the Ostrava track event, as and the Heusden track race.
Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South Africa. Her family moved in Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. The local casting directors discovered her. Brandt played the part as Naevia for the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Her performance was a hit for both the audience and production team members Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC character from comic books and Vertigo/DC's series Lucifer played her part in this acclaimed Netflix show. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as their top television show to watch for binge watching in 2021. Brandt's next appearance is in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. In the summer of 2023's Netflix adult-oriented comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa native born 2nd December, 1981. She's quite an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. The first time she worked within Auckland as a retailer later being elevated as an IT manager. Lesley began her professional career in commercials after several modeling roles. She completed her acting major in 2008 and has continued to study Meisner's methods. Lesley Brandt's first notable part-time acting gig was with the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street in the role of a guest supporting role. She then appeared in the science-fiction thriller This Is Not My Life inspired by anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a hostage in the midst of her youth and was later featured her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
